You don’t say where you live, But the school I go to is UW-Whitewater and it is the best school for education majors in the state of Wisconsin. Half of the population at this school is Education majors of some sort. It’s a small school, but it is once again the best in Wisconsin. Also we have the best 3rd division Football team in the United States and The Best Wheelchair Basketball team in the World.

Our school prides itself on accesibility to student who have disabilities of all kinds ranging anywhere from ADHD to Physical handicaps and Cognitive disabilities.

No sports marketing and management majors are in the education department. That would not make any sense. I’m a sports marketing major, and I am positive it is in the business department here and at every other university. NMSU, UT, Baylor, any university with a sports marketing and management major. Marketing and Management have to do with business, and nothing to do with education, except you get educated about them.

I have heard so many stories of adults suing the education department for emotional/mental health issues they have had because they were bullied (which happens to most people at least once during their school lives). So do you think they should be allowed to sue for that reason and how will the settlements that they get resolve the issue of them getting bullied all those years ago?
I’m from Australia and it happens here.

I just graduated with my bachelors in elementary education from Flagler College (in Saint Augustine, Florida). They are also known for their fabulous Deaf Education program.

Some other colleges include Mount Holyoke College (South Hadley, MA), state colleges, and more. Depends what part of education you’re interested in. Then see who is known for their education programs.

Why is that neither party is discussing cuts involving the education and the energy department?

Question by AH: Why is that neither party is discussing cuts involving the education and the energy department?
The education department, which provides college financial aid along with other multitudes of programs and the energy department, which is involved in research and handling of nuclear material do not seem to be the talks of the deficit reduction plan. Medicare, medicaid, and social security seem to be the only items on the table.

Is it because these departments do not make up a large portion of the deficit? or Is it because both parties realize the value of education and research?
Please don’t give me an opinionated answer. I am looking for a factual answer.

Oh, please, only the facts. Well, the fact is since we have had a Department of Education test scores have gone down. That is a fact. Now, close the Department of Education altogether.
